VA-01 Virginia's 1st Congressional District
Our Congressman
Rob Wittman
U.S. Representative · Virginia's 1st District · Serving since 2007
For nearly two decades, Rob Wittman has carried Williamsburg and James City County's voice to Washington. He rose the way Virginians respect: an environmental scientist who started on a small-town council and never stopped serving. Today he stands among the most senior voices in Congress on a strong Navy, on the shipbuilding base that anchors Virginia's economy, and on the Chesapeake Bay we call home.
